What should I wear to Schnepf Farms?

Accepted Answer

For safety reasons, wear closed-toed shoes such as tennis shoes. It is also recommended that you and your children wear socks so that you can have your feet covered while on the jumping pillows. Always dress for the weather. As the sun goes down, you may need to bring a light jacket for the evening experience.

Although we fog, every once in a while we will have Mosquitos as the sun sets

How long should I plan on staying at Schnepf Farms?

Accepted Answer

There are over 40 attractions and rides to enjoy on the farm. We also have a museum telling the history of the Schnepf Farms, a candy shop, country store, bakery, toy shop , live entertainment, bonfires and marshmallow roasting and mini golf.

It is fun to come during the day and enjoy as the sun shines, and then when the sun goes down it is a whole other experience. Have fun!

Do you have real restrooms?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we have two locations that have nice restroom buildings. Right at the front admission and one by the bakery. There are portapotties for the boys and flushable restrooms for the girls  out in the ride area.

Where should I nurse my baby?

Accepted Answer

We have a mother's lounge at Guest Services near the front admission.  We have made it comfortable with rocking chairs, changing table, and even a microwave to heat up a bottle if necessary.

Can I leave Schnepf Farms and return later without paying admission twice? or can I leave and go to my car and come back?

Accepted Answer

Yes, please ask for a wristband when you leave the farm. When you return, just show them the wristband. We use a different colored wristband every day.

Question 7

Can I bring in my own food to Schnepf Farms?

Accepted Answer

There is no outside food or drink  (bottled water is okay) allowed inside the Farm unless needed for medical reasons. 
 
Please budget accordingly. We serve an incredible chili dinner, chili & chicken dinner, pizza, succotash, burgers, hot dogs,  taco bar, baked potato bar  Plus plenty of fresh delicious bakery goods.

Is the farm wheelchair accessible?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we are all wheelchair accessible. However, we are a large 300 acre working farm and the pathways/roads are uneven.

We are wheelchair accessible on our train, one hayride. You may have a difficult time going into the corn maze, but all shops are wheelchair accessible.  Please plan accordingly.

Can I bring my pet to Schnepf Farms Pumpkin & Chili Party?

Accepted Answer

We are pet friendly. If you want to bring your dog, please keep them on a leash and pick up after them.  We do have a dog show, so please be mindful. On Friday and Saturday nights, we light off fireworks.

We allow photography on the farm during The Pumpkin and Chili Party with the purchase of admission for all guests. But we do not allow outfit changing and props during the festival.
