Schnepf Farms Calendar of Events!

Schnepf Farms needs your HELP!

FYI our "Special Use" permit FINAL VOTE February 18th. Come out and support our family farm. We need people to speak in favor of what we do. We need people to share experiences of their visits to the farm. We need people to argue the fact that our neighbors think WE are responsible for traffic in Queen Creek, or WE are responsible for ruining thier Rural lifestyle.... We need support!

Even with that statement the council could not decide on our future.

1. The 2500 signatures from us compared to the 60 from them were not a factor.

2. The 437 positive emails from us and the 37 from them were not a factor.

3. The profressional lighting, noise, traffic studies presented by staff that were positive and all within required levels. Neighbors complained that "drunk drivers are driving through their neighborhood (not a fact) during Edgefest," In 2008 law enforcement protected their streets so they complained that it was "too hard to get into their neighborhood."

4. The neighbors said "the trees planted as a barrier to protect them from the sound was not enough???"...At last count, Mark says there are over 4000 eldarica pine trees in a 30 acre field, all over 30 feet tall. That still isn't enought

The council has continued the vote to February 18th,2009

More Emails of support are needed!!!

but most important...if you can drive to Queen Creek...voices of support!!!
